Welcome back to James Welsh's channel where skincare reigns supreme, a world where progression trumps perfection because let's face it, perfection is but a myth. Today, we delve into a mix of new releases, old favorites, and all-around skincare newness. Among the hits and shits, we encounter the Beauty of Joseon's tinted fluid sunscreen. Promising a lightweight formula with a tint to celebrate your skin, this sunscreen falls short with its sheerness and tendency to peel, failing to live up to the hype.
Moving on to K-Beauty, we explore the Jung Saem Mool essential toner, a hydrating delight with fermented Pearl extract and hyaluronic acid for that dewy glow. This toner, although not for those averse to dewy skin, proves to be a hydrating powerhouse with skin evening and brightening benefits. Next, we revisit Make Prem with their tea tree calming essence, boasting 86% tea tree leaf extract and five different molecular weights of hyaluronic acid for a cooling, hydrating experience that's perfect for the serum stage.
As we venture into the realm of practicality, we encounter the Skin Glutathion collagen sun gel patch, a novel concept that falls short in execution due to its tendency to peel with facial movements. While the idea of a clear gel patch for sun protection is commendable, its lack of durability in everyday scenarios renders it impractical for real-world use. Lastly, we rediscover the timeless appeal of Belif's true cream moisturizing bomb, a soothing, calming moisturizer enriched with comfrey leaf, oat husk, and panthenol. This evening moisturizer not only protects against the elements but also leaves the skin well-moisturized without any greasy residue, making it a perennial favorite for James and skincare enthusiasts alike.
